About Me

People say I'm:
-
Describe Yourself:I am a conundrum and an unraveling knot, a hidden metaphor and an open book. Squeeze me and I may cry, but probably laugh. I like to write poetry so that I can reach not only into my own soul, but also find a resonance with other souls in my writing. I love chess, all kinds of music, great poetry, soccer, great movies, my beautiful wife and my three beautiful kids, their spouses and all future grandkids. I love Sofie, our new Golden pup, and I love really good, expensive red wine, when I can get it at other folks' houses. I'm way too funny for my own good.

You sound like a wonderful husband and father, perhaps a bit complicated. I have just finished reading a book called "Highly Sensitive People" It has helped me to understand why I feel so deeply about things, people, and why I am aware of what is going on around me more than some other people. I pick up on things that others ignore. That however is why we appreciate so much more in our lives.
It is so wonderful that you have the gift of expressing your feelings through your poetry and you do it beautifully. I do not have the talents that all of you seem to have on Gather so I am not sure if I will stay with it. My talent is painting nature scenes in watercolor. I haven't had much time to paint lately with all the yard work etc. Have a great week.

I was very excited to get a "ping" from you. I was glad that my comment was of interest enough for a ping! Do stop by and tell me what you think of my hand icons. I call them spiritual, they can be deemed at religious if one would like. I do consider them Christian imagery, possibly you might like them.
Take care and blessing and love to your family from mine to yours ~Christina
